[Manga Review] Kodomo no Kodomo

Title: Kodomo no Kodomo

In a small town in Tokyo, the PTA argues about teaching sex ed in elementary school, but what nobody knows is that eleven-year-old Haruna is already pregnant. When she decides not to tell any adults, it's up to her classmates to help her through this ordeal.

"Your baby is in my tummy, what are we gonna do?" asked 11 years old girl to her close friend.

Completely mortifying. Humiliating to the failed adults. Are kids completely innocent or are they just freaking ignorant? This is tale of a child mom, accidentally had sex with her friend and got pregnant, as horrifying as it sounds. This is a tale of child mom wants to keep her baby among prejudiced adult in suburban Tokyo.

The title itself scared me, I looked for information if there was kids abused or pornography or somethings. There is none of it, though I needed a year since the first time I saw this recommended on a Livejournal forum until I was ready to read this manga.

I was quite shocked to find its rating on BakaUpdate. The artwork is special and unique, not that kind of manga I would read if the story is not promising. Some people might find the story horribly awful, a friend of mine had to close her ears while I was telling another friend this manga to a willing listener. Yet, the very idea intrigued me and I would read this until some horrible scenes (I hope not) makes me stop reading this
